To CREATE AND Save a Copy of an Estimate

Once the estimate has been converted into a consultation, the estimate is not saved by default. You can save a copy of the estimate into the animal’s digital imaging folder by following the steps outlined below. You will need to have Bullzip PDF printer installed – this is usually installed on each server by default.

  1. Click Estimate when generating the Consultation Header.

  2. Create the estimate and click Complete.

  3. Click Yes when prompted to print the estimate. This opens the Print dialog box.

  4. Change the printer name to Bullzip and click OK. This will save the estimate in a pdf format and open a Bullzip Create File wizard.

  5. The correct path to that animal is automatically saved in your computer’s clipboard. Paste this into the Filename in place of the default entry and add a name for the estimate at the end of the path, otherwise the estimate will not be named.

C:\Assisi Documents\LinkedDocuments\SA-0004689\Estimates\

C:\Assisi Documents\LinkedDocuments\SA-0004689\Estimates\Spey.pdf

  1. Click Save.

  2. Make sure that the Open the document after creation box is ticked and click Save.

  3. This will ensure that the estimate is saved in the Digital images folder for that animal.

  4. The pdf will then open and you can print (right click to print) the estimate before closing the Create File wizard (move the curser to the top of the document screen to close).
