Locking and Hiding Fee or Stock Codes

Stock and fee codes cannot be deleted once created. They can instead be hidden and/or locked. This may also be useful in other situations.

Hiding a code prevents it from appearing in search results, but it can still be sold by typing its code in directly. To do this: 1. Edit the code in your Stock File or Professional Fees list 2. Tick the Hide Code option 3. Click the Save button

Locking a code prevents it from being sold, including as a part of multi-line routines. To do this: 1. Edit the code in your Stock File or Professional Fees list 2. Tick the Lock Code option 3. Click the Save button

By combining these two options, you can prevent an old or unused fee or stock item from appearing in searches and from being sold.
